What you need to know

1. If you click Submit, your South African mobile number will be verified with a One Time PIN (OTP) via SMS.
2. You must be 18 years or older to open an account.
3. You must have a valid identity document (i.e. one of the following documents: South African ID, Passport (with or without work permit), Asylum Seeker or Refugee Status).
4. By applying here, you accept all IMB terms and conditions.
5. TO COMPLETE your application, a representative of IMB will complete the FICA process, and you will be contacted to inform you if your application was successful or not.
6. The registration fee for the IMB Personal Account is R120. The monthly fee for the account is R71.07.
